So far, I've only been in when they've been slammed... Halloween and NYE. Both times the bartenders were taking good care of folks and the music was great. Good crowd, even if it gets packed on big holidays.
While visiting Reno on a hot day in August, I was looking for a cold drink, I happened to find The Loving Cup Bar. Wow! The key to the success of any business are it's employees! This is a happening place! As busy as they were on a Friday night, I was amazed how the bartender Jess was able to keep up with serving the crowd! Her upbeat personality and her smile were very contagious! I was probably her oldest patron this night. She made me feel welcome and included. Just as she did, everyone at the bar! I saw nothing but smiles, and folks of all ages who were having a good time! Jess is one of those people whose personality grabs your attention, lifts your spirit, and makes you happy to be there! She is an asset to The Loving Cups' bottom line! As a business owner myself, I would attempt to steal her away if my business was local! She would be an asset to any business! I wonder if she would be willing to relocate, I thought. I didn't ask because she obviously is loyal to her employer and enjoys her work and hernpatrons. Brian, don't lose Jess! The food scene is unique. Pizza next door and you can walk over with a beverage. Super cool place
Went in with a friend for the first time the other day…now I understand what everyone is talking about! We went in the afternoon so it was fairly quiet but I love the vibe there and can see why it’s so popular later in the evenings and into the wee hours. Amy took great care of us…looking forward to future visits!
Danyella is a nice new addition to Loving Cup. Been enjoying this place for quite some time but our experience with her working there was top notch. We love this place. Will visit again soon for sure.
This IS the best night life place in Reno. Amazing bar, the best people and phenomenal music. We went Thursday and they had live jazz music. It was great! The people working there and the owner who was actually serving and having fun with us and other guests was like just what you want, that welcoming place where everyone knows your name. Best night in Reno! Thank you guys very much!
Great atmosphere, good drinks. Love seeing bands. Saw The Peanuts Gang playing Christmas songs/Vince Guaraldi. Fun!
